Help! I Need A Good Rental Agreement

by j_dumas

Hey gang! 1st time landlord here.

I found a generic landlord-tenant agreement for California online and was planning on adapting it for Massachusetts. But I have NO CLUE if it can be trusted.

Would anyone be willing to:
1) take a look at it and leave comments or
2) post the one you use?

Since there is a 100 character limit here, I posted it on this website: http://www.paperwell.com/docs/468-ca-rental-agreement

Thanks!

Review My Lease
by: wayde

1. Never ever use a store lease.

2. It's okay to have someone to review your lease
but an attorney is the best to review a lease.

3. Go to a local landlord association for a lease approved by the state you live in, then if needed, have an attorney review it.
